I am still in disbelief! Last night - Sunday, March 9th - Ella slept in her own room, in her own crib! Hooray! This is a big feat for us! She is going on 3 months now, and we kept talking about how we need to get her on some sort of a night time routine. We have company coming in the next few weeks and figured we should get started sooner rather than later if possible.
Before last night Ella would just come to bed with me, and I would feed her..... since we'd only been able to get her to sleep in our bed with us when she was first at home, that's the routine we'd started. Well I'm hoping that last night was the start of something new and wonderful! I fed Ella at around 8:30 in her room. She fell asleep as I fed her (nothing new), and I transferred her to the crib. She woke and fussed 2 times after I put her down, all in about a 15 minute period. Each time I went back in to her room and put her binky in. After about 20 minutes or so I snuck in to check on her and she'd put herself to sleep! I knew she could do it! She's always slept well at night with us, I just have been afraid to put her down in her crib, figuring she would wake and cry like she does when I put her down for naps during the day. So the next great task will be naps on her own!!!
Wish us luck tonight..... we'll find out if last night was just a fluke! :)

I had so much to catch up on! A stay-at-home Mom, no more Jetta, sleeping through the night. Congrats. I hope every thing works out for you guys :) So, do tell, what are you replacing the Jetta with??
