GO ZAGS!

We've pretty much grown accustomed to watching the Gonzaga Bulldogs making it to the NCAA basketball tournament every year.... I think they've made it the last 12 out of 13 years or something like that? We root them on every year (too bad we weren't able to cheer for the Cougs in the tournament this year). This year - tonight to be more specific - the Zags have made it to the Sweet 16! They play North Carolina (#1 seed) at 6:57 PST tonight. We'll be watching - will you!? I'm not expecting a win necessarily, but as usual, I am hopeful....

I am getting a little lax on my blogging responsibilities lately. It was my Mom's birthday on Tuesday and I neglected to post a little tribute.... Luckily a bunch of us were able to get together on Saturday to celebrate her special day so we got to tell her how special she is then. We met at Anthony's here in town - Mom's favorite! Happy Birthday to you!!!

Splish Splash

Lynn and Isaac came for an overnight visit on Sat/Sun - it was great to have them here for a longer visit! We took tons of pictures of course, and a lot of them were from their bath together. Here's a little video we took.

Happy Spring!

It's the first day of Spring, and we are excited to see some warmer weather come our way. I heard today is supposed to reach 59 degrees! I'll believe it when I see it. Here's a couple pictures of Ella from St. Patty's Day that I didn't get posted on Tuesday.....

Just a litle late with this post....a visit from the Foslers

I think I mentioned that I'd had some trouble tracking down my camera/computer cable a couple weeks ago.... well around that same time our friends Lynn, Tim and Isaac Fosler visited us. It's been a couple weekends ago now, but wanted to at least post a couple pictures. It was amazing to see Isaac and Ella together again - it's been since August, so they have both changed so much. It was GREAT to hang out with Foslers - it's been so long! We need to get together again soon and for longer! Love you guys!

Meal Time Woes

Where, oh where has our good little eater gone? Dinnertime has become a battle at our house over the last few weeks. Breakfast is relatively easy, lunch isn't too bad, but when dinner rolls around, Ella makes sure Seth and I are on our toes. She pretty much refuses to sit in her high chair - screaming and thrashing around after only a couple minutes and bites if we're lucky enough to get anything in her mouth while she's there. Honestly, a lot of nights Ella eats dinner running back and forth from us for bites while she plays. Or she'll eat bites off our plates while we eat, sitting between us on the couch. One thing I've finally given in to (probably should have done this a long time ago) is letting Ella just dive into her food in her highchair. She may make the biggest mess in the world and end up with just as much in her hair as her mouth, but at least she's eating! Half the time this seems to keep her happy... Dinner has not been a peaceful time around here lately. This is a phase right? Oh Lord, please let this be short-lived!

It has snowed here the last few days. If you're not aware already, it's March. What's the deal? We are all ready for spring - the kind of spring that brings sun and warmer temperatures, not snow storms. I know, I know....in like a lion, out like a lamb.
