We made the trip to Rapid City (2 months ago....hello again blog!) for Tim and Margaret's 40th Anniversary. They were married in Rapid on June 3rd, 1972 and we were so excited to be with them to celebrate the date, 40 years later!! It's so fun to visit Rapid in the summer.... lots to do! We visited friends, saw some sights, hung out with family and ate a lot! The best part was we were there for about 10 days, which let us really settle in and catch up. Oliver, Maia, Steven and Silas all come up from Denver. Tim and Margaret had a full house for a few days - which I can safely say, they don't mind at all! We had such a great time! On the 3rd of June, we had a reception for Tim and Margaret with friends and family in attendence. I feel so lucky to be a part of this family, and can only hope to make 40 years of marriage look as wonderful and fruitful as Tim and Margaret have.
OK - here come the pictures!

Did I mention we DROVE to Rapid this time? We stopped on
the way there in Billings to spend the night. If you can
believe it, snow was a factor....at the end of May! The kids get so excited
to stay in a hotel it was tough getting them to settle in. |
 |
| they eventually settled in as you can see..... |
 |
| and it was tough waking them in the morning! |
 |
The day we arrived in RC was Luke's 2nd birthday - May 26th.
Grandma and Grandpa had gifts ready of course! Can't
believe our baby is 2 already! |

We visited Storybook Island twice while in Rapid. Our kids have never
been to Disneyland, so in their eyes....Storybook Island = the happiest place on earth.
Luke loved Piglet. Had a full conversation with him with his hands on his face like this. |

| Luke and Ella both STILL all about riding the train |

Once that train horn blew, Luke was ready to exit the train in a hurry. He stuck it out.....
.....and Ella held his hand and I said "Aww" about a hundred times. |

Time for the Reception! Tim & Margaret live in a great development that has a "party house" available where we could host a reception for friends and family to come eat, drink and wish the happy couple well. It was a great time.

The cake was beautiful and so GOOD!
