So Ella is crawling all over the house.... or at least where we'll let her. She's also very busy trying to pull herself up on EVERYTHING. Even the wall today..... nothing above her to reach for and nothing on the wall to help her stand.... just wanted to stand up at that spot for some reason. Now that she can get around she sure seems to have amped up the energy level. She's a little energizer bunny! She is the happiest baby too. She smiles so often - it's the best thing in the world. Everyone wants to stop and talk with us when we're out. She flashes her toothless smile and reels people in. Maybe she's going to be an actress? She seems to love an audience. She babbles alot, saying all sorts of things....and lately she's making this strange growling noise. Hope that's a phase.... our little monster.
We go to the doctor for Ella's 9 month check up on 10/2. Looking forward to no shots, and seeing what she weighs now. She's still small compared to the averages, but healthy for sure.

Ella is so BEAUTIFUL! I love your blog, and don't get to visit enough, not to mention write. Tater, I wrote you an e-mail recently, and it was your work address. What's your home? I wanna keep in touch!!
By the way, our baby Annie, who turns one next Sunday, LOVES the picture of Ella on our fridge from the birth announcement. She points at it every time we see it, and says "Saa" (I think she means "that") and if we stop to study the beautiful photo, she tries to grab it and kiss it, so we move along in order to save the photo!
We really miss you guys, and hope to see you next time you are in town. Please call if you have time to hang out, or just want to catch up.
Megan loves the picture too, by the way. She asks me to take it down so SHE can carry it around, but Ella's picture is off limits since it's the only one we have!
