Seth's sister Maia came to visit our little family - all the way from Laramie Wyoming. She arrived on Thursday and we are all so happy to have her here, but wish it was for longer. She goes home tomorrow, and we're sad. Ella's gotten attached to her Auntie.... look at the pics below, can't you tell? We love you Maia!! Thanks for coming to see us! We'll be counting down the days until we get to come see you this summer!

YEAH! These pictures are great!!! I am so jealous of Maia, but so excited that she got to see you guys! I'll be there soon enough . . . Hopefully sometime around Presidents' Day. How does that sound?

Oliver sent me the address of your blog so I could peek in and see the most recent pictures. Good grief, Ella looks like she has really grown already, that milk must be grade A++ Katie!!! I certainly hope Maia left a good impression on her niece, after all she has to put in a good appearance for the McKinstry side of the family!!!
There seems to be a lot of similarities between Ella and her auntie Maia. Maia also weighed 6 lbs 14 oz, she also likes to stay up and party hardy, and yes she definitely loves to cry for her dinner... soooo sorry about that!!!!
I'm feeling really melancoly as this was the week we were to come to Spokane and meet Ella, but instead I am here in London with no end in sight to my stay. I must say what I am doing here reminds me a lot of caring for a newborn, waking up sometimes 2-3 times a night to care for mum, and even though I am grateful that I have the opportunity to be here it is really amazing how life can come full circle. Soooo Sethy remember, 50 years from now Ella might be the one changing your diapers at 3 o'clock in the morning!!
