First snow of the season

Seth knocked on the kitchen window this morning as he was leaving for work to let me know that it was snowing outside. Not much, but it kept up most of the day here. Tiny little flakes of wet snow. I really like snow until there are inches and inches outside to shovel, so today was nice. A little warm up for things to come! Don't worry Jensens.... it will pass and be beautiful sunny weather when you come to visit next month! :) I'm sure of it!

Punkins

Ella has a little bit of an infatuation with punkins right now. We opened one up to clean it out and carve it on Sunday night. Such a memory.....showing your child pumpkin guts for the first time.

Family Outing

We had semi-nice fall weather this past weekend, and the Cougs were only available on the radio, so Seth, Ella and I hopped in the car and headed to Greenbluff. We were able to listen to the Cougs game in the car and then take a few family pics at the pumpkin patch (Seth's first time this year).

A long road ahead....

We are just beginning the potty training journey in our house, but I had to mention that Ella went pee pee in her potty last night before her bath, and then again this morning!!! This is real progress, because we've spent quite a bit of time in the bathroom over the last few weeks just getting Ella used to her new "chair" and sitting on it. We've been taking things really slowly so far - the no pressure approach I guess. We've heard that kids can do great with training for a while and then regress, so we aren't throwing out the diapers yet, but just had to share that we've at least seen some positive results. I'll keep you posted, without too many messy details.

We kinda like the pumpkin patch

Ella and I have been to the pumpkin patch 3 times this fall already....I think you could say we're fans. The pumpkin patch is technically known as Greenbluff around here. Lots of farms with all sorts of fruit, veggies and outdoor things to do from spring through late fall. I posted pics from the visits we made with Seth's family, but I didn't get any pictures up from the trip Ella and I made with Grammy Sharon (we met Zac & Kristen up there too, but didn't manage to get them in any pictures). Sorry for the long break between posts. I don't really have a good excuse..... Except for the fact that I didn't have my camera, so I haven't been able to get any pictures from the camera onto the computer - then on to the blog. So here I go, trying to catch you all up on what's been happening around here.

The last time I posted, I mentioned a visit from Oliver, Maia and Steven. We had a fabulous weekend with them! The pumpkin patch, a Cougar game and just hanging out. Here's some pics...
