Another Year Older
We celebrated Seth's birthday on July 17th. Having kids around sure make our adult birthdays more fun than they were becoming! The kids and I made a yummy yellow cake with chocolate frosting....and sprinkles of course! The weekend after his birthday we headed to CDA for a night out, just the 2 of us, while Zac and Kristen watched Ella and Luke. We went to Grill from Ipanema, a Brazilian Steakhouse. So good!

Grami Margaret & Papa Tim visit Spokane!
Seth's Mom and Dad came to visit us at the end of June and stayed through the first week of July. It was wonderful to have them here - as always! Seth and Tim golfed, we BBQ'd quite a bit and hung out outside as much as we could, enjoying summer together. Ella and Luke both adore their Grami and Papa and love having them here. They especially loved showing them how they can zip around on their bikes, and Luke showed off all his new baseball skills.
On the 4th of July, we headed to Bret, Kellie and Abby's house in Otis Orchards. The 4th is also Abby's birthday, so it's a double celebration. Tim and Margaret came with us so they were able to see my Mom & Dad for a bit....which rarely happens. Bret & Kellie have a pool and a trampoline so the kids had the time of their lives.
Family Photos
We had family pictures taken at the end of June. I really love how they turned out!! Here's a bunch.....
Father's Day 2013
Luke and Ella are so lucky to have such an awesome Dad, and we made sure he knew how much we love and appreciate him on Father's Day! Love you Seth!
Luke's 3rd Birthday
Luke is 3!! Wow, where did our baby boy go? We had a party over Memorial Weekend. He wasn't feeling 100%, poor guy, so he wasn't in party mode necessarily, but he hung in there. The usual crowd was here at the house to help us celebrate. Tom & Ruth, Kellie, Bret & Abbie, Zac & Kristen and Grammy & Papa. It was a Jake & the Neverland Pirates theme.... Seth and I joined forces to make a pirate ship cake! Not the best looking cake ever, but you could at least tell what it was, Luke liked it, and it tasted good.... so score one for Mom and Dad! Lots of gifts revolved around sports.... basketball hoop, baseball bats, T's and a pitch & catch machine. Luke was in heaven!
Happy 3rd Birthday to our little man. You are sweet, funny, adorable, charming, clever and full of love for anything involving sports! We love you more than anything, and are loving every minute of watching you grow!
