Visit to the Farm

The kids love to head to Endicott to Grammy & Papa's. The huge yard to explore, cats, dogs, a goldfish, Papa's lawnmower and 4 wheeler, oh - and Papa and Grammy too. The list goes on. Here's a few pics from when we were there last.

Summer's here....also Luke loves his Spiderman boots

Luke made the switch from crib to toddler bed in March!! He's done amazingly well! For the most part he stays in his bed once we put him down at night....with just a few exceptions. It's tough when you share a room with your sibling - just a little distracting! It was so hard to get these 2 to settle in when they started sharing a room, but now I don't think they could go to having their own room without lots of tears because they're used to having each other there when they go to sleep.

Park time!

Spring weather means we can finally get outside and head to the park again!! Nothing makes these kids happier.

Kindergarten here we come!

Miss E is registered for Kindergarten! (this fun craft was included in her registration goody bag) This little 5 year old will be heading to the brand new Jefferson Elementary starting September 3rd! We are so proud of our energetic, sweet, smart girl and can't wait to see her shine in school!

Easter

What a beautiful Easter we had this year! It was a gorgeous day - chilly in the morning of course, but around 70 most of the day. The morning before Easter Sunday, we were busy with an Easter Egg Hunt put on by the local Albertsons... which we joined our neighbors, the Stuckraths for. We went to the same hunt last year, and it's the perfect size for the kids....not too big and intimidating! Ella was all over hunting for eggs this year, but Luke was still not quite so sure. He managed to pick up a few, but he wasn't too concerned about winning any prizes! :) After the hunt, Ella had a birthday party to get to and we actually were looking to meet up with some friends from out of town - Becky, Corey and Dylan, who were visiting from Bellingham for a volleyball tournament.

We headed to church on Sunday morning, and then on to Tom & Ruth's for Easter dinner - where else would we go?! Great food, and great company for a special day!

March Trip West

In mid March, the kids and I headed west to visit my friend Lynn and her family in Maple Valley for a couple days, and then on to Bellevue to Gabe & Nancy's for the weekend. Seth stayed behind, poor guy in a nice quiet house - I almost felt bad for him! It was such a good trip. Ella & Luke played with Isaac & Addy and had a ball. Tim & Lynn bought a new house a few months before so we got to check that out, and they've got a lot of beautiful space to run around on which was great. Addy's 3rd birthday was coming up (3/16) and we "helped" them prep for that too. Check out the Tinkerbell cake that Lynn and her Mom and brother helped decorate. Amazing!

We made our way in to Bellevue on Saturday and had a really nice weekend just hanging out with Gabe, Nancy, Jameson and Molly. Molly still being a baby changes so much every time we see her!! Ella and Luke absolutely love hanging out with their cousins, not to mention checking out all their toys! :) Heading back around Molly's 1st birthday which will be lots of fun!
